Love costs...
It costs a lot.
I spent too many years
Fearing its loss.
I pushed it away,
But, then one day,
I began to see
The truth of it:

True love can never be lost.
True love is only gain.
It never dies,
Even when the
Loved one is gone.

The love goes on...remains,
On Earth as in Heaven.

True Love is God given,
And God's Gifts go on forever,
Never rescinded,
No shadow,
No turning.

All those years I wasted fearing.
No more.
These days,
I spend my time
Loving.
